2008 年，吴非的古筝即兴弹唱音乐席卷了曼哈顿与布鲁克林极赋国际声望的现代音乐演出场所, 其中有 The Stone, Barbès, Issue Project Room, Roulette 等。纽约先锋音乐的代表人物John Zorn (著名先锋萨克斯演奏家, 作曲家）邀请吴非作为The Stone十月期间的艺术监督及演出活动。11月, 吴非在Tzadik唱片公司发行了她的第一张室内乐作品专辑《Yuan - 缘》，并当选芝加哥Alarm杂志当月“最佳唱片”。
2009年春节将至，吴非与中国最活跃的一批现代即兴演奏家们在北京汇合，成为“声东击西”系列演出2008年历史上的最强组合，他们将分别与吴非展开精彩地即兴合作。

北京自由即兴音乐联盟简介

北京自由即兴音乐联盟是一个自由的音乐组织，是以自由即兴音乐为主，兼实验音乐、先锋爵士、噪音电子的音乐联盟，由跨界萨克斯手李铁桥倡导组成。成员主要来自古典乐手、爵士乐手、摇滚乐手、民族乐手、电子乐手、多媒体艺术家、先锋舞蹈艺术家。
北京自由即兴音乐联盟从2007年11月开始策划“声东击西”系列自由即兴的演出。目前主要活动范围在北京地区。

吴非: 青年作曲家, 即兴弹唱演奏家。 北京人, 现居纽约。六岁时开始学习古筝演奏, 九岁即登台演出。

赴 美留学之前, 吴非在中国音乐学院本科作曲系。2000年, 吴非赴美。先后在北方德州大学音乐学院和Mills College学习作曲与即兴演奏。并于2004年, 从 Mills College 获得了音乐艺术作曲硕士学位。自赴美后至今，吴非曾与多位先锋派大师及代表人物切磋与合作, 他们中有John Zorn （萨克斯), Fred Frith（吉他), Erik Friedlander (大提琴), Elliott Sharp (吉他), Billy Martin (打击乐), Trevor Dunn (贝司), Cecil Taylor（爵士钢琴), 日本筝大师沢井一恵等。

至今为止, 不仅吴非的作品已在北京, 伦敦, 纽约, 旧金山, 柏林, 米兰, 威尼斯等城市公演; 而且还带着她的的原创古筝独奏和即兴音乐多次在北美和欧洲的国际性音乐节上演出, 并于2007年, 登上了北京迷笛音乐节的舞台。同年秋季, 她的首张个人古筝弹唱原创专辑《A Distant Youth》由意大利Arvmusic 制作 Forrest Hill 公司出版, 第一次用中国古典乐器为基础, 以实验先锋音乐为主调, 并加以弹唱的演奏形式向全球作唱片发行。此唱片还邀请了先锋派吉他大师 Fred Frith (英), 小提琴家 Carla Kihlstedt (美), 和打击乐家 Helge Andreas Norbakken (挪威)一齐录音献艺。此唱片还登上了2008欧洲世界音乐(专家评审团)唱片年度排行榜！在选送的913个唱片中，《A Distant Youth》排名第88位！这一年, 吴非还应法国著名的里昂打击乐团 Percussions Claviers de Lyon的约稿, 北京国际合唱节的赞助, 于2007年初完成了室内乐作品《社火》, 并于同年四月在北京中山音乐堂首演。 吴非与包含欧洲数位音乐家在阿尔卑斯山拍摄的音乐DVD《山气》(Arvmusic制作) 将于2009年2月在全球发行, 由德国Ozella Music出版。

李铁桥简历

李铁桥，1973年出生，中国湖南人。跨界乐手，萨克斯演奏者。

李铁桥主要从事实验自由即兴表演项目。在他的即兴表演中，他勇敢地在爵士乐、摇滚乐和电子噪音中寻找新的表达方式。

他于1995年～2005年生活在北京。作为萨克斯手，他参加的乐队有：美好药店乐队、乒乓聚会乐队、自由即兴团体“美之瓜9﹢2”、D！O！D！O！D！乐队。

2005 年，他移居到挪威首都奥斯陆。开始他的自由即兴演奏生涯，他在挪威的主要合作对象包括：自由爵士乐手、新古典乐手、黑金摇滚乐手、民族乐手、前卫诗人、先 锋舞蹈、实验话剧等。与他合作的挪威著名自由乐手有： Paal Nilssen-Love，Ingebrigt Harker Flaten， Maja Ratkje， Rolf-Erik Nystrom，Olga Konkova等等。

2007年9月，李铁桥回到北京，创立“中国自由即兴音乐联盟”。
2008年3月，李铁桥策划首届“2008中国先锋音乐节”——"Sally Can’t Dance festival"。
2008年7月，李铁桥策划“声东击西”系列的自由即兴演出。
2008年10月，李铁桥独立出版了首张萨克斯独奏专辑《风啊，他们疯了！》。

他曾经是最不安分、最爱即兴发挥的民谣歌手。在手鼓、吉他、风琴之间制造快乐的麻烦……
他曾经是、现在也仍然是实验摇滚乐队“美好药店”最癫狂的大脑。经常指挥着摇滚戏剧,民谣电影,Fusion舞曲的大联欢……
最 近，我们惊喜的发现：在乐队表演之外的他，放下了多人的器乐编制，单骑挺进，依靠愈发莫测的人声，带效果器的箱琴，甚至合成器和电脑，一路甩开民谣 jam、怪民谣（Weird Folk）甚至自由民谣(FreeFolk)的藩篱，朝着更辽阔的自由即兴（Improvization）之路，绝尘而去。

吴俊德
吴俊德，1972年生于新疆乌鲁木齐，汉族。
1991 年开始参加摇滚乐队。1997年参与组建舌头，担任贝司手，并一同到北京发展。2002年参与组建IZ乐队，担任冬不拉、贝司和伴唱。2005年加入即兴 实验乐队铁观音。舌头发表的专辑有《小鸡出壳》（摩登天空）、《油漆匠》（SubJam）、《这就是你》（普涞引擎）；IZ在Bailong Muisc发表过同名EP。
舌头乐队贝司手，杭盖乐队贝斯手，诅咒的NO乐队贝斯手，1234567的贝斯手。中国最伟大的贝斯手。伟大的冬不拉演奏家。

Bruce Gremo
2005 年纽约市互动技术驻地艺术家奖的获得者；2004年的创作艺术家交流计划中获得日／美友谊委员会和全美教育协会的赞助奖励，在日本进行了为期6个月的研究 工作；2003年的5月和6月，作为Civitella Rainieri基金会的作曲家，居住在意大利；2002年获得NYFA音乐作曲奖学金。是纽约实验媒介、Roulette,Harvestworks以 及莲花工作室的代表作曲家。Bruce/Gremo曾经是阿姆斯特丹Steim、纽约 Engine27和Harvest Works的驻场音乐家，他的电脑音乐曾在世界各地演出。作为长笛演奏家，他专门研究了银笛、日本尺八、中国埙等乐器的演奏技术与即兴形式。最 初，Bruce/Gremo是作为古典音乐的演奏家在林肯音乐中心等场所演出。曾经作为独奏音乐家与奥地利管弦乐队和苏格兰的 BBC交响乐团同台演出，也参加了Knitting Factory爵士音乐节和Charlie Parker爵士音乐节。从1990年到2000年，他频繁地与中国作曲家谭盾在即兴表演、编曲、合成器编程、独奏以及管弦乐指挥等领域进行合作。 Bruce Gremo作为合成器编程、EWI独奏音乐家与曾执导昆曲名作《牡丹亭》的美国导演Peter/Sellars进行了长达14个月的巡回演出。目前，他刚 从纽约迁居到北京。 Bruce Gremo

Beijing free improvisation alliance

“Beijing free improvisation alliance” is a series of concerts based on free improvisation music. The concerts will performed by musicians with background in experimental rock and avant garde jazz, multi media artist will also appear on these events. The “Beijing free improvisation alliance” is initiated and organized by the saxophonist Li Tie Qiao. The member mainly comes from the classical musician, jazz musician, the rock and roll musician, the noise electron musician, the multimedia artists, the cutting edge dance artist ect…

Wu Fei
Born and raised in Beijing, Wu Fei is a virtuoso composer and performer who began learning gu zheng and piano at the age of 6, started giving solo concerts at age 9, and at age 15 entered the China Conservatory of Music to study composition.

After coming to the US in 2000, she went on to receive her M.A. in Composition from Mills College and a grant from “Meet the Composer”. She began to diversify her sound and experiment widely, working with musicians as dynamic as John Zorn, Fred Frith, Béla Fleck, Pauline Oliveros, Carla Kihlstedt, and Cecil Taylor and also as a commissioned composer for Percussions Claviers de Lyon (piece premiered at the Forbidden City Concert Hall, Beijing).

Wu Fei's compositions for choir, string quartet, chamber ensemble, Balinese gamelan, orchestra, film, and modern dance exhibit her remarkable skill and profound musical understanding. She has also appeared as a guest on Frith's ”Eye to Ear II” (Tzadik, USA) and “Happy End Problem” (Recommended, UK) and Carla Kihlstedt's “Traineater” (Anti, USA). Wu Fei has performed in cities around the world, including New York, Rome, Beijing, Berlin, Dublin, Venice, Milano, and San Francisco and released her debut album in 2007, entitled “A Distant Youth” (Forrest Hill, Italy) and featuring Frith and Kihlstedt. Fall 2008 saw Wu Fei collaborating with such New York City luminaries as cellist Erik Friedlander, percussionist Billy Martin, and bassist Trevor Dunn and also serving as curator for the month of October at John Zorn's modern music venue, The Stone, in the East Village in Manhattan.

November 2008 brought the release of her second album “Yuan” (Tzadik), a collection of chamber works and a new piece for solo piano performed by Stephen Drury. February 2009 will bring a music DVD entitled “Shan Qi” (Ozella Music, Germany), filmed in the Italian Alps and featuring the young artist and several outstanding European musicians. In 2009, Wu Fei will return to Europe and China for further concerts, collaborations, and recording projects. Wu Fei's performances on gu zheng and voice can be as delicate as lace or furious as thunder.

Li Tie Qiao (born 23 September 1973 in Hunan province) is an Chinese composer
and saxophonist/multi-instrumentalist. He mostly engages in experimental and
free improvisation projects. In his improvisation he bravely experiment in search for a new expression between the boarders of jazz, rock and electronic noise. As a child, he played bamboo flute. He went to music school learned trombone and played in a military band.  He moved to Beijing in 1995 where he start self-study
Alto saxophone and played in some experimental rock bands and Contact with a lot
of avant-garde artists, poets and musicians.  

He moved to Oslo, Norway in 2005 and was warmly welcomed by a number of
Norwegian musicians. During his time in Norway he has played with Paal Nilssen-Love, Ingebrigt Harker Flaten, Maja Ratkje, Rolf-Erik Nystrom etc.

Li Tie Qiao established the "Chinese free improvisation alliance" group in Beijing 2007.
He successfully arranged the first avant garde music festival  "Sally Can’t Dance festival" in Beijing in March 2008.

Xiao He
Third son of Tian Qiaoyun and He Pingsuo. Born in 1975 in Handan,Hebei Province. Band member of Glorious Pharmacy.
In addition to singing and playing guitar for Glorious Pharmacy,a Dada-esque performance art-rock troupe, Xiao He also performs byhimself. He continues to do experimental/improv solo performances,collaborating with friends, including musicians from the Bejing PekingOpera Troupe.

Wang fan
wang fan is pioneer of china's experimental/improvised music, sound
designer, sonic explorer, powerful noise maker, minimalist/maximalist,
multi-genre composer and a talented singer. he was born in 1970, Lanzhou
and relocated to Beijing in 1996, the year he created China's first formal
experimental music piece which is a mysterious 40 minutes lofi work. he is
a self taught, religion-tendentious (buddhism and other oriental religions)
and non-spoted musician.
he had released 3 masterpieces for Chinese new music:

Bruce Gremo
Bruce Gremo was recipient of the 2005 Interactive Technology Artist in Residence Award at Harvestworks, NYC. He was a 2004 Fellow in the Creative Artist Exchange program, a Japan/US Friendship Commission and NEA sponsored award that enables Fellows to study and work in Japan for six months. He was Composer in Residence at Civitella Rainieri Foundation in Italy in May and June of 2003. A recipient of a NYFA Fellowship in Music Composition (2002), he has been a featured composer at New York venues such as Experimental Intermedia, Roulette, Harvestworks and Lotus Studios. He has been Artist in Residence at Steim in Amsterdam (9/2002), Engine 27 in NYC (5-6/02), and Harvest Works, NYC (2000). His computer music has been performed around the world. As a flutist, he specializes in extended technique and improvisational formats using the silver flute, the Japanese Shakuhachi, the Chinese Xun and others. Originally out of the classical music world, he has been a soloist at the Lincoln Center Festival with the Lincoln Center Chamber Music Society, Wien Modern in Vienna as soloist with the Austrian Radio Orchestra, the BBC Proms Festival at the Royal Albert Hall in London as soloist with the Scottish BBC Symphony Orchestra, the Knitting Factory Jazz Festival under Ornette Coleman誷 direction where he was as soloist in 襍kies of America,? the Charlie Parker Jazz Festival as soloist with Butch Morris. From 1990 up to 2000, he frequently collaborated with Chinese composer Tan Dun as improviser, music director, synthesizer programmer, soloist and orchestra conductor. He toured over 14 months as synthesizer programmer and EWI soloist with the Peter Sellars production of the Chinese Kun Qu classic, The Peony Pavilion. He now resides in Beijing having recently relocated from New York。
